The presence of SL in the career(s) responds and is coherent only with the institutional mission and the UC distinctive mark, since the graduate profile does not reflect the elements or skills related to the methodology. However, there is an explicit desire to make the necessary adjustments, since the AU wants to train its students in SL-related skills. The methodology is implemented, as a pilot, in several courses to identify the relevance and scope of the methodology in specific course contexts. The skills that each course will address under the pilot have been defined, but have not necessarily been stated in all course programs or their specific level has not been detailed. The way to monitor the skill in students has been planned or implemented for the pilots. The student has the opportunity to take 3 courses with the SL methodology throughout the career if desired, since the courses indicated as SL are not necessarily part of the minimum courses or are given permanently over time, which would not ensure at least 3 experiences of the student in his/her career. Some courses present quality problems in their methodological implementation, considering that at least the central elements of the methodology, service aligned to objectives, reflection and quality service, are achieved.
Thepresenceof SL in the career(s) responds to the graduate profile declared by the AU, is consistent with the institutional mission and the educational project.
The implementation is consolidated in the courses defined after having carried out more than one implementation. In this stage, new courses can be added to the already implemented curriculum program. The SL courses count with defined transversal skills, stated in their program, making explicit the specific level of the skill that is being addressed. The achievement of the skills is monitored on an ongoing basis. The Social commitment skill is addressed at all levels within the curriculum program, which aims at a double transformation: of society and of the student, and is based on the mission and principles of the UC. The student takes at least 3 courses with the SL methodology throughout his career, thinking that it is necessary to give continuity to themethodology and to the development of any skill related to it. Most of the courses achieve a good level of quality in the methodology implementation, considering that at least the core elements of the methodology, service aligned to objectives, reflection and quality service, are achieved
