There is a group within the AU that has a good knowledge of this methodology, and is able to disseminate and share their knowledge or experiences with others. The rest of the teaching staff have only heard of it or definitely do not know about it. Those professors who incorporate the methodology in some of their courses are trained in the implementation, including all the teaching staff who participate in the implementation of pilot courses. Professors who implement SL obtain recognition mainly associated with the dissemination of the experiences or results obtained in their courses, which helps them to be socially recognized by the community. In general, this is an intended action of the authority of the AU or the SL program. In addition to this, other formal and symbolic recognitions by the authority can be added. We have identified partners withwhomwe can work in the courses, allowing us to establish links with institutions with which we seek to work for mutual benefit in the long term. The partners have been engaged with the AU, but they are still working or building the relationship that will be established, so in general the way of working is not reciprocal. However, themechanisms and/or confidences are being built so that the relationship will be reciprocal. Partners are trained in the methodology, understanding the core elements thereof and their role in it.

Most of the academic community of the AU knows the SL methodology and the reasons for it in their curriculum. A group with greater affiliation and knowledge of themethodology is identifiedwithin the academic body. An important group of professors and the main academic referents are trained in themethodology and have an important expertise in it. The implementation of SL is mentioned in the complementary norms to the academic’s norms, so it is recognized at the moment of evaluating the academic’s teaching. The completion of the Course is recorded in the academic’s record. Both measures aim at a formal, institutional recognition that can have a positive impact on other aspects of the teaching staff’s work. It hasbeenestablished theprofileof thecommunity partners with whom the AU works. There are formal working and collaboration agreements between the AU and the partner, which may go beyond the tasks related to SL. The relationship between partners and the UA is reciprocal, providing both with information and experience. The partners actively participate in service definition, participate in the Courses, in closures and are actively and permanently related to the Academic Unit. The partners are trained in the methodology, acquiring formative tasks in relation to the students, having an active role in the formative process.
