We call Community Partner the counterpart of the course with whom the service experience takes place. Generally, it is an organization recognized for its leadershipwithin the community or territory. A community partner may belong to the Third Sector, Foundations, NGOs; it can also be a Governmental entity, or private non-profit companies. In the following, we will describe a series of characteristics that would facilitate the selection of an institution for the purposes of a SL project: - To have a formal organization, recognized for its leadership within the community, with credibility and convening capacity, which allows them to manage their own development. - Whose objectives are oriented to work for the benefit of the poorest sectors and with limited opportunities for their development.
