Attended needs: A study was carried out that evaluated the proposal of the light network of bicycle lanes and proposals were submitted for the intervention of specific spaces in the commune, especially, in sectors with a high concentration of people and high vulnerability. Specifically, this time, how can mobility measures be addressed or proposed in the context of a pandemic. Project description: The students worked on 3 plans: Proposal for the semi-pedestrianization of a street with a narrow sidewalk, wherein on certain days fairs are held, in order to have a walking space and a place for children to play; improvement of a bicycle lane proposal already submitted by the municipality; and the modification / complement of the commune’s bicycle lanes, together with the planning of a park in an area adjacent to San Bernardo. Community Partners: In the Municipality of El Bosque with Henry Herrera from Urbanism & Sustainable Mobility, and Gabriel Robles Squella, architect.
Reflection strategy (s) used: Social Prejudices, Inequality, Reflect on the impact of decisions on the people living therein, think about and adapt to the reality of the people who will participate in the project. Assessment strategy (s) used: Oral presentation, Report that includes diagnosis, ideas, and project design with details and costs.
