Critical Thinking

Level 2: Analyzes and questions the coherence of his/her own and others' professional judgments, proposing possible solutions to what has been questioned . Level 3: Discusses critical positions based on the disciplinary framework, valuing the personal, social and professional implications, assuming responsibility for those decisions.

Definition: Mental process that questions situations and is interested in the fundamentals that are at the basis of the own and others' ideas, actions and professional judgment. The Student first ask him/herself about the reality in which he/she lives, reflecting on it and formulating his/her own judgments and arguments. Afterwards, he/she analyzes the judgments of others, differentiates ideas and underlying values, and then adopts a constructive attitude and posture in the analysis of external judgments, becoming aware of the practical implications of the judgments, to finally assume responsibility for these decisions. Levels of mastery: Level 1: Questions and raises questions about reality, actively participating in debates about reality, so as to reflect and give opinions about the consequences of their own decisions.
